Abuja (FLOWERBUDNEWS): NAFDAC Director General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye has intensified efforts to strengthen relationship with sister agencies visiting the Executive Chairperson of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) Hon. Hulayat Motunrayo Omidiran for deeper collaboration.
Flowerbudnews reports that Prof. Adeyeye’s visit to PCC was particularly, a follow up to a compliance review session with the Federal Character Commission (FCC) on 17 September 2026 at NAFDAC Headquarters on 17 September 2026 in which the Director General personally participated along with other relevant NAFDAC officers.
During the NAFDAC Boss’ visit to FCC, Prof. Adeyeye and Hon. Omidiran further discussed issues from the compliance review session and opportunities for continued institutional engagemaent..
According to a NAFDAC information post, the review session focused on NAFDAC’s compliance with @fccnigeria requirements, particularly in employment distribution, equitable infrastructure development, and resource allocation across the country.
The FCC further highlighted the importance of regional approaches to food safety infrastructure and raised concerns around food preservation practices.
The review session also discussed the issue and the growing challenge of illicit drug abuse, including the role of regulatory agencies in addressing the issue.(FLOWERBUDNEWS)
