Abuja (FLOWERBUDNEWS): NAFDAC Director General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye has reaffirmed the Agency’s total commitment to the effective implementation of Nigeria Alcohol Policy evolved to enhance public health and safety.
Prof. Adeyeye gave the assurance in her goodwill message at the launch.of the Alcohol Policy and its Multisectoral Implementation Plan (2026–2030), by the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.
She reiterated NAFDAC’s commitment to contributing to the achievement of a healthier, safer and more productive Nigeria through science-based regulation, effective monitoring and surveillance, strengthened food control systems, and robust stakeholder engagement.

The Policy provides a coordinated national framework for reducing alcohol-related harm while supporting responsible economic developmentt.
