The elder caucus of Accord party in Ede North local government, congratulated Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke on his re-election, following the August 15, 2026 Osun state gubernatorial election.
In a release jointly signed by the chairman and the secretary/ coordinator of the caucus, Alhaji Abdul Wahab Adediran and Alhaji Mubasheer Kunle Abass respectively , lauded the victory as a testament to the will of the people and proof that the Accord party stands shoulder- to shoulder with the people of the state.
The party chieftains praised voters in Ede North and Osun state in general for trooping out enmass by resisting voters inducement and protecting their mandate throughout the off – cycle election process.
The elders described the victory as historic and resounding, noting that the outcome reflected the overwhelming confidence of Osun people in the governor’s leadership, reforms and vision for a liveable and prosperous homeland.
Also, the party’s elders forum described the triumph as not just an electoral outcome, but a referendum on performance, progressive governance and a reaffirmation of governor Adeleke as a trusted administrator.
The Accord party leaders use the medium to acknowledge the roles played by notable individuals such as Dr Deji Adeleke, Yeyeluwa Dupe Sanni Adeleke and Hon.Kazeem Akinleye for their contributions in ensuring total victory for the governor in the poll.
The party chieftains expressed deep appreciation for their unwavering and relentless backing for the successes recorded by the governor through his political career and re election efforts.
According to the release : ” we wish you success and be assured of elders support and collaboration in ensuring the state ‘s progress and development”.
Other notable members of the elders forum like Prince Lere Laoye, Hon Kamardeen Olagoke, Hon Yaaqub Idowu and Alhaji Abdul Razaq Abass prayed that Almighty ALLAH will continue to guide and keep governor Adeleke strong as he remains focused in his service to Osun state and humanity.
