Abuja (FLOWERBUDNEWS): The National President of the Builders Construction and Skilled Artisans Association of Nigeria (BACSAAN), Haj Fasasi Muhammad Jamiu has assured that the unfolding partnership with IDENTICO would boost the economic fortune of Nigerian artisans.
Fasasi gave the assurance on Wednesday in Abuja while addressing a delegation of BACSAAN members who visited him at the Association’s Headquarters in Lugbe. They came to acquire more information about the ”good news of the IDENTICO-BACSAAN alliance” aimed at enhancing the welfare of artisans across Nigeria.
Nigeria’s leading Identity technology management firm, IDENTICO Integrated services Limited and BACSAAN had recently concluded discussions on strategies to improve the economic fortune of Nigerian artisans.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to give effect to the agreed implementation mechanism, was also recently endorsed by the two parties at a ceremony witnessed by National leadership of the Association and leaders of BACSAAN, Lagos branch.

Fasasi said that the empowerment packages under the IDENTICO-BACSAAN partnership would provide a major source of financial backup for Artisans who are certified by BACSAAN and recommended accordingly.
The BACSAAN Leader enjoined the artisans to mobilise other artisans at the local level to get set to avail themselves of the expected economic empowerment support from the IDENTICO-BACSAAN partnership.
Also addressing the visiting artisans, the BACSAAN National Director of Operations Haj Isiaq Robiu, commended IDENTICO, a subsidiary of CHAMS CONGLOMERATE for its initiative that resulted in the IDENTICO-BACSAAN economic empowerment partnership.

Haj Robiu implored the CHAMS’ -IDENTICO Management to accelerate work on all necessary technical mechanism that would make artisan subscription to the IDENTICO-BACSAAN financial scheme easy and fast.
He assured the Artisans that the national leadership of BACSAAN would ensure that Artisans, who have long been active members of the association would highly benefit from the envisaged economic empowerment packages.
BACSAAN is the national umbrella body for all Artisans in Nigeria. Its members include mechanics, Tilers, Iron Benders, Masons, Electricians, Rewires. Tailors, Shoemakers, POP Makers, Hairdressers, beauticians, block moulders, Painters and carpenters, among others. (Flowerbudnews)
