Nigerian Students Mentored by GLAN Consulting, Shine in Global Maths Competition

Lagos (FLOWERBUDNEWS): Results of the year 2026 Global World Maths Day competition have been released, with Nigeria ranked high as the nation’s Students achieved remarkable feat in the global competition.

Among the Nigerian Top Global Performers, who were mentored and prepared for the competition by the Lagos-based GLAN Consulting Limited , were Jasper Eburagbemi, David Eburagbemi and Ayotayo Osisanya all of the Apostolic Faith Secondary School, Lagos.

Nigeria recorded the impressive global performance with Jasper Eburagbemi ranked among the 30 Best Maths students worldwide.

On his part. David Eburagbemi ranked among the best 31 globally, while Ayotayo Osisanya ranked among the Best 50 Maths students in the world.

It is noteworthy that the Verified result data confirmed that Nigerian students achieved top percentile rankings globally, highlighting the country’s growing strength in international mathematics competitions.

Flowerbudnews reports that thousands of students from schools across Nigeria participated in this year’s competition.

Gbolahan Laniyan, Director of GLAN Consulting and National Coordinator of the Global Maths Competition for Nigeria noted that the high participation reinforced the nation’s rising profile in global academic excellence and STEM performance.

Commenting further on the national achievement, Gbolahan Laniyan, stated:

“This achievement is not accidental. It is the result of structured preparation, consistent training, and strategic access to global learning platforms such as Mathletics.”

Laniyan said that ”Nigerian students have demonstrated that with the right system, they can compete — and win — on the global stage.”

One of the top-performing students, Jasper Eburagbemi of Apostolic Faith Secondary School, Lagos said:

“Competing with students from around the world pushed me to improve every day. I feel proud representing Nigeria.”

Laniyan said that GLAN Consulting, in collaboration with partner schools nationwide, would ”continue to drive excellence in mathematics through structured training programs.’:

He disclosed that GLAN Consulting had plans to expand participation in international Maths competition across Africa and position Nigeria as a leading hub for global STEM talent. (Flowerbudnews)
