Fed Poly Ede ASUP tasks members on two-week strike compliance
Ede (Osun): FLOWERBUDNEWS: The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) Federal Polytechnic,Ede branch, has enjoined its members to comply with the two-week strike following an industrial disagreement with the management.
The union’s Chairman, Barr Azeez I O ,made the appeal during a emergency Congress held on 27th of March , 2025 to finalise arrangement for the individual action
The chairman listed the reasons for the strike to include Non payment for missing laptops,
Sanitation and lack of basic utilities and Students enrollment/admission.
Barr. Azeez I.O , also listed Appointment of principal officers, Non-address of Transportation challenges and Concerns over security on the campus as part of the grievances.
The Labour leader directed all members to stay away from classes and not to engage of any academic activities during the strike period effective from 12am, 28th March 2025.
