Calabar (Flowerbudnews) Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State has appointed Imam Kabeer Olowolayemo as the Chairman of the State Pilgrims Welfare Board.
According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Nsa Gill, the 8-member Board also has Imam Ahmad Etim Bassey as Secretary.
Others members are Alhaji Ibrahim Itansina, Umar Marwa, Ursula Fatima Sanni, Yussuf Ali, AbdukRahman Zakariyah Nkim and Nasiru Ahmed Baba
Olowolayemi was the former IMAM for Calabar road central mosque.
He was also the Coordinator of year 2024 Cross River State hajj operations, the last appointment he earned from Governor OTU before been appointed Chairman on 8th July…2024. (Flowerbudnews)
