Project Nakudu 2027 has concluded a three-phase digital media capacity-building programme for ADC social media campaigners across Jigawa State, training about 300 participants drawn from the state’s 27 local government areas.

The final phase, held on Saturday in Gumel, brought together participants from 12 local government areas in the Jigawa North-West Senatorial District to strengthen digital advocacy, harmonise campaign messaging and boost grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.

Project Coordinator, Alhaji Mohammed Sabo Nakudu, said the initiative was designed to strengthen the party’s digital communication and campaign structures.

He urged participants to remain disciplined, committed and vigilant, stressing the critical role of youths in protecting ADC votes from polling units to the conclusion of the electoral process.

In a lecture, Hon. Ahmed Rufai Gumel, former chairman of the Jigawa State APC social media team and ADC House of Assembly candidate, emphasised message discipline, coordinated online engagement and the promotion of all ADC candidates.

ADC stakeholders at the event urged participants to promote verified information, counter misinformation and project the party’s programmes professionally and responsibly.

The three-phase programme covered Jigawa’s three senatorial districts to build a coordinated network of digital campaigners ahead of the 2027 general elections.
