FLOWERBUDNEWS: The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has forged collaboration with the National Health Research Ethics Committee (NHREC) to achieve highest standard for clinical trials in the country.

To strengthen the collaboration, a five-day Clinical Trial Stakeholders Training, designed to build the capacity of professionals across the clinical research and regulatory landscape has began with participation of all relevant stakeholders.

Addressing the stakeholders training, NAFDAC Director General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, said that the initiative would enhance regulatory standards and capacity for clinical trial oversight.

Prof. Adeyeye disclosed that the stakeholders training was being held with a renewed focus on improving regulatory processes and advancing global recognition.

The NAFDAC Boss particularly emphasised that the collaboration would promote common standards, and also reinforce effective coordination between NAFDAC and NHREC in the oversight of clinical trials conducted in Nigeria.(FLOWERBUDNEWS)
