A FCT High Court, Maitama has ordered Jordan Wike the son of the FCT Minister, to produce his American international passport in court.
Justice Sylvanus Oriji made the order at the defence of a suit against Jordan filed by Safwan Garba GY and GY Global Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited after the claimants counsel applied that the defendant should produce the passport.
The companies, through their counsel, Hamza Dantani, in a suit marked: CV/008/2026, alleged that the claimants met Jordan in London and they developed a rapport.
After about three months, they also met in Abuja and the claimants approached Jordan for assistance to facilitate the acquisition of land in Abuja.
They claimed that Jordan agreed to facilitate the acquisition of land.
Jordan, according to the claimants, assured of acquiring for them 30 hectares of land at Katampe and 30 hectares at Guzape.
They claimed further that Jordan told them that fee from the facilitation is at 2.1 million US dollars, adding that 2 million U.S dollars is for his father while 100, 000 U.S dollars is his.
The claimants alleged further that the cash was delivered on Sept. 26, 2025 in the presence of Adamu Sani, Aliyu Sarki and Sai Wani while Jordan was accompanied by Onor Sandy.
They claimed that after receiving the money, Jordan neither deliver the land nor give back the money instead went into incommunicado.
At the resumed sitting, Jordan adopted his statement on oath and denied all the claims of the claimants.
Jordan was represented by Mr Ogwu Onoja, SAN, and some documents were tendered through the defendant.
Being cross examined by the claimants counsel, ,Ibrahim Waru, the defendant (Jordan) denied any knowledge of what the counsel was talking about.
Waru applied to the court for Jordan to write his full name in a plain paper five times and his signature same number too.
The court granted his application which was not opposed by the defence.
When asked where he was on Sept. 26, 2026, he said he was not in the country
Asked which international passport he travelled with, he said his American international passport but he can produce it if it is asked for.
Waru then applied to the court to have the passport produced in court.
Justice Oriji then ordered that the passport be produced.
He then adjourned until Wednesday for continuation.
