Polygon Trust Limited has paid a congratulatory visit to the Second Substantive Rector, Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Oyo State, Dr. Isiaka Tunji Adelabu, FCA, in his office today, at the institution’s temporary site in Iresa-Pupa.

The visit was aimed at congratulating Dr. Adelabu on his appointment as the Second Substantive Rector of the young institution and exploring opportunities for strategic collaboration towards advancing its institutional development.

The Polygon Trust Limited team was received by the Rector alongside the Bursar of the Polytechnic, Mr. Muftau Alao.

During the visit, the company formally expressed its intention to partner with Federal Polytechnic Ayede as an Education Support Services Provider, offering a range of non-core but essential services designed to support effective institutional administration, improve operational efficiency and create additional internally generated revenue (IGR) opportunities for the Polytechnic.

Polygon Trust Limited, a multidisciplinary consulting and service support company with experience supporting tertiary institutions across the South-West, proposed areas of collaboration including the printing of examination answer sheets, OMR sheets, student identity cards and certificates; group life and personal accident insurance schemes for students and staff; tax consultancy; community security services; integrated college portal solutions for admission, course and result administration; as well as hostel facility management, campus transportation and other IGR-driven projects.

The company noted that its proposed partnership would enable the Polytechnic’s management to concentrate more effectively on its core academic mandate while professionally managing essential support operations in a cost-effective, transparent and sustainable manner.

Speaking during the visit, Dr. Adelabu expressed appreciation to the management of Polygon Trust Limited for the congratulatory gesture and the confidence reposed in his administration and the Federal Polytechnic Ayede.

The Rector also highlighted a remarkable personal connection between the institution’s leadership and the visiting company, noting that he, the Bursar, Mr. Muftau Alao, and the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Polygon Trust Limited, Dr. Gbite Ademikanra, were members of the same academic community at Obafemi Awolowo University between 1989 and 1993.

He described the reunion as significant, expressing optimism that the long-standing relationship could further provide a solid foundation for mutually beneficial collaboration in support of the Polytechnic’s development.

Dr. Adelabu emphasised his administration’s commitment to building a strong, innovative and sustainable institution through strategic partnerships with credible organisations and professionals whose expertise can complement the Polytechnic’s academic and administrative mandate.

In a further demonstration of its goodwill, Polygon Trust Limited presented a gift to the Rector as part of the congratulatory visit.

The gesture and proposed partnership underscore the company’s commitment to supporting the growth of educational institutions, particularly emerging tertiary institutions with strong prospects for expansion and development.

With its proposed range of professional support services, Polygon Trust Limited is poised to contribute its expertise to the operational efficiency, revenue diversification and overall development of Federal Polytechnic Ayede, while the Polytechnic under the leadership of Dr. Adelabu continues to pursue strategic initiatives aimed at positioning the institution for sustainable growth and excellence.

The visit therefore marked not only a congratulatory engagement but also the beginning of what could become a strategic relationship between Federal Polytechnic Ayede and Polygon Trust Limited, anchored on shared commitment to institutional efficiency, innovation and sustainable development.
