Agbomojo Celebrates Soun at 65, Hails Oba Ghandy Olaoye’s Transformative Leadership

Hon. Ezekiel Agbomojo, a proud son of Ogbomoso and prominent advocate of the town’s development and unity, has felicitated His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandy Olaoye, Orumogege III, the Soun of Ogbomosoland, on the occasion of his 65th birthday.

Agbomojo, in a congratulatory message celebrating the monarch’s milestone, described Oba Olaoye as a distinguished traditional ruler whose reign has continued to inspire renewed confidence, unity and development among the people of Ogbomosoland.

According to him, the Soun’s emergence on the throne represents a significant chapter in the history of Ogbomoso, noting that the monarch has brought wisdom, dignity, intellectual depth and a strong sense of purpose to the traditional institution.

“His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandy Olaoye, Orumogege III, is not only a revered custodian of our cherished heritage but also a visionary monarch whose leadership continues to give Ogbomoso a stronger voice, greater visibility and renewed hope for a prosperous future,” Agbomojo said.

He further praised the Soun for his commitment to the peace, unity and progress of Ogbomosoland, describing him as a father to all and a symbol of the enduring strength, resilience and greatness of the Ogbomoso people.

Agbomojo said the 65th birthday of the monarch was more than a celebration of age, but an opportunity for the people of Ogbomoso and well-wishers across the world to appreciate his contributions to the growth and advancement of the ancient city.

“As a true son of Ogbomoso, I join Kabiyesi’s family, the Ogbomoso traditional institution, sons and daughters of Ogbomosoland, and well-wishers across the globe in celebrating this remarkable milestone. We are proud of our King, and we are grateful to God for the gift of his life and leadership,” he added.

He prayed for the Soun to be blessed with many more years in good health, wisdom, strength and divine grace, wishing him continued success as he leads the people in the service of Ogbomosoland.

Agbomojo also called on the sons and daughters of Ogbomoso to continue to support the Soun and work collectively for the peace, unity, development and greatness of the land.

He concluded by describing Oba Ghandy Olaoye, Orumogege III, as “a King for the present and a legacy for generations yet unborn,” while wishing His Imperial Majesty a joyous 65th birthday and many more fruitful years on the throne.
