Honourable Oluwafemi Eniayewu has officially emerged as the Accord Party candidate for the Oyo State House of Assembly election in Lagelu State Constituency in the 2027 election, following the ratification of his candidature and the successful upload of his name to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination portal on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
The development has been welcomed by party members and supporters across Lagelu Local Government Area, who described the confirmation as a significant milestone ahead of the 2027 general election.
Party supporters and voters in Lagelu state constituency have expressed confidence that Eniayewu’s grassroots connection and commitment to community development would strengthen the party’s chances at the polls.
A familiar face in local politics, Eniayewu has earned a reputation for youth empowerment, community engagement and advocacy for better representation. His emergence is seen by many supporters as an opportunity to deepen political participation and champion the interests of the people of Lagelu Constituency.
Speaking after the confirmation of his candidature, Eniayewu appreciated the leadership of the Accord Party, delegates and supporters for their confidence in him.
He pledged to run an all inclusive campaign centred on quality representation, infrastructure development, education, youth empowerment and improved welfare for residents of Lagelu constituency
Party faithful have since called on members to remain united and intensify grassroots mobilisation as preparations gather momentum for the forthcoming election. They expressed optimism that the party would present a formidable challenge in the constituency.
With his name now officially submitted through the INEC nomination process, Hon. Oluwafemi Eniayewu’s campaign enters a new phase, as supporters look forward to taking his message of inclusive leadership and people-oriented representation to every ward and community across Lagelu State Constituency.
