Ede (FLOWERBUDNEWS): An Osun state Universal Basic Education Board ( SUBEB) Commissioner, Alhaji AbdulGaniy Tiamiyu has urged parents to play active role in children’s education by assisting them in their studies while at home.
Alhaji Tiamiyu, who gave the counsel on Wednesday while speaking at the KUMAR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL’s end of the year ceremony in Ede, said that parents’ support to children would help the nation build a better tomorrow.

On his participation at the children’s event, Alhaji Tiamiyu said; ”It is l an absolute honour to stand before you today as the representative of Governor Ademola Adeleke at this magnificent end of the year party.”
”First of all, let us express our deepest gratitude to the Almighty ALLAH for guiding us safely to the victorious end of this rigorous academic session,” he stressed.
He commended the school management led by Hon. Kamardeen and teachers for their commitment in moulding Future leaders morally and intellectually.

Speaking further on the sacrifices of the parents, Hon Tiamiyu said: ”your sacrifices, financial dedication and unwavering support are the foundation of what we witness on this stage today.”
The Hon. Commissioner also advised the students saying: ”as our brilliant students, you have worked incredibly hard. As you step into next academic chapter, carry the values of excellence and displine learned . Enjoy your celebration today, you earned it !
He also used the occasion of the event to advise the citizenry to collect their permanent voters card in their respective wards to be enable to vote for governor Ademola Adeleke re-election on August 15.
Alhaji Tiamiyu personally handed out monetary awards for excellence for the brilliant and outstanding students to celebrate the school’s performance metric.
Speaking, the proprietor of the school, Hon Kamardeen Opatunde Aderemi (KUMAR) appreciated the gesture of Alhaji Tiamiyu for finding time to honour and celebrate with the children.
He assured the parents of the students that the management of the school would not relent in its efforts to attain the highest level. (Flowerbudnews)
