President Bola Tinubu has described Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, as a pan-Nigerian leader, lauding his inclusive approach to governance as the governor marks his 65th birthday.
In a birthday message personally conveyed through a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga on Tuesday, the President praised Adeleke for embodying national unity through both his heritage and leadership style.
“He has proven to be pan-Nigerian in his way of life and governance philosophy, exemplified by his Yoruba and Igbo heritage,” Tinubu said.
The President acknowledged Adeleke’s cross-cultural appeal, noting that his background and conduct in public office reflect a commitment to national integration, which is critical in today’s Nigeria.
Adeleke, who turned 65 on May 13, was first elected Senator for Osun West in 2017, taking over from his late brother, Senator Isiaka Adeleke.
