Engineer Counsels Gov. Adeleke to Embark on More Road Infrastructural Projects to Boost Economic Empowerment

Says  –     It will open up Osun rural areas for profitable agriculture

Oshogbo (FLOWERBUDNEWS): An Engineering Professional, Engr. George Olumuyiwa Olusola of ACUME FORTE Construction Firm has urged Gov. Ademola Adeleke to undertake more road infrastructural projects to further enhance economic empowerment of the people.

Engr. Olusola emphasised that a sustained investment in road construction, including networks of rural roads, would open up Osun interior areas for engagement in profitable agriculture by the people, especially, the youths.

He made the call while speaking in an interview with FLOWERBUDNEWS in Oshogbo on the need for the Osun State Government under Governor Adeleke to sustain the enviable tempo of infrastructural development going on in the state.

Engr. Olusola noted that projects, like the ones currently being executed by Gov. Adeleke Administration, was one of the easiest means of creating economic opportunities for the citizenry.

He noted that Gov. Adeleke has indirectly provided gainful economic lifeline for thousands of people through the gigantic mega projects being executed by the Administration across major towns in the state.

Engr. Olusola, the Project Manager of ACUME FORTE, the company handling the construction of the expansive Old Garage – Okefia -,Lameco Dual carriage way for Osun state Government, said that several categories of professionals, dealers, businessmen and youths were reaping profitable economic benefits from the MEGA PROJECTS.

HE disclosed that suppliers of gravels, cements, asphalt etc, have being enjoying consistent patronage by the companies handling the projects.

Engr. Olusola also noted that hundreds of others, especially, youths and artisans, have been engaged in different aspects of the road and bridges construction works.

The Civil Engineer however, advised Governor Adeleke to drastically extend the road networks into the rural areas of the state to attract youths massively into agricultural business.


He said that by opening up the rural areas through construction of road networks, evacuation of farm products would become very easy, adding that good rural road networks would also boost economic activities among the various local government areas of the state.
