Adeleke Inaugurates Health Facilities for Local Communities, Pledges More Health Relief to Citizens

Ede (Osun):  Flowerbudnews: Gov.  Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has reassured the people of his commitment to continuously enhance public health with provision of modern well-equiped health facilities in neighbourhoods across the state.

Gov. Adeleke gave the assurance at the  official inauguration of a public health facility at Ailaka compound, unit one of Olusokun ward 4, Ede North Local government on Tuesday.

The governor, who was represented by the Commissioner for Rural Development, Hon. AbdulGaniyu Olaoluwa, said that the government would intensify its efforts to control preventable diseases, improve access to basic health services and quality care.

Gov. Adeleke disclosed that the new  health centre was equipped with ultra-modern medical tools, state of the art equipment, and would extend its services beyond maternal and child care as it had capacity to address a wide range of health issues.

The Governor urged the communities to patronize the facility to maintain good health, adding that his government would  continue to give attention  to the health sector for  improvement.

Gov. Adeleke stated that the P H C is for the use of the general public irrespective of their political, class, gender and religious affiliation.

Speaking earlier, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Hon Suleiman Bello ( SEE BEE). commended the governor for providing the health facility for use of the citizens through renovation and construction of new health centers across the state.

He assured that the Government would continue to work hard to  enhance the well being of the citizens and also save them the hassle of always traveling far when they have health challenges.

Speaking on behalf of the community, Hon. Kehinde olayiwola appreciated the governor for deeming it fit to build a morden health center and pledged the community’s plan to partner the government to take good care of the project.

Present at the occasion were: the former chairmen of Ede North and Ede Area Council; Hon. Taiwo Amodu & Alhaji Saka Ola Bakare, who both beacknowledged the efforts of governor Ademola Adeleke led administration to take the health matter seriously since the inception of his tenure.

Kunle Abass commended the Governor for prioritizing the provision of good health to the people as a way of giving back to the society.

Other dignitaries included: Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Head of communities, clerics political stake holders and market women among other members of the public. (Flowerbudnews)
